By following our Community Guidelines, you help Pratilipi achieve its goal of creating a safe and comfortable space for everyone to discover and create.

Finding community

There are many ways to find community in Pratilipi. Many Pratilipi users bond over stories, posting in comment sections until they find other readers and writers like them. You can read about all the ways to interact with other Pratilipi users below.

Review / Comments

If you’d like to share your thoughts about a particular story part with the writer or other readers, you can leave a review. Each review can be a maximum of 2000 characters long and there are no limits to the number of comments you can leave. You can edit/delete any comment you posted. 

Rating

Rating is a great way to show an author your support. You can give a rating on any story part you read. 

Gifts

Another way to engage with a story is by using gifts. Stickers are the only gifts currently available on Pratilipi. You can select from the wide range of stickers available in Pratilipi to support your favourite content or your favourite author. 

Private messaging

You can send a private message to another Pratilipi user, and this message will only be visible to you and them. Your private messages are stored in your inbox. You can delete a private conversation at any time. Please note: It will only be deleted on your end. The other Pratilipi user will still be able to read past messages.

Posts/Stories

Your post/story is visible to anyone who visits your profile. It’s a place where you can share your thoughts or engage in public conversations. You can post messages on your posts, share quotes from stories, or reply to comments etc.

Your post/story section is also a great place to share news with your followers. When posting a message on your post/story everyone who follows you will get a notification about your new post/story. 

Following

Following other Pratilipi users is a great way to keep up to date with their activities on Pratilipi. If you follow a Pratilipi user, you will receive notifications when they add a post/story or publish a brand new story. Following also enables other Pratilipi users to interact with you.
