We’ll be sad to see you go, but we understand! If you need to take a break or want to permanently close your Pratilipi account, here is exactly how you can do it.

Step 1: Find the Settings Menu

1. Open the Pratilipi app and head over to your Profile.
2. Tap the Settings gear icon (usually in the top right corner).
3. Scroll down until you find Account Settings.

Step 2: Choose Your Option

Inside Account Settings, look for the option to Deactivate or Delete Account.

• What happens when you Deactivate?
  Deactivating your account is like hitting pause. Your profile, stories, and comments will be hidden from everyone else on the platform. But don't worry—if you ever change your mind, all your stuff will be waiting for you the moment you log back in!
• What happens when you Delete?
  This is permanent. Deleting your account tells our system to completely wipe all your data, stories, and history across all our apps (Literature, Comics, and FM).

Step 3: Confirm and Say Goodbye

Once you tap Deactivate or Delete, you might be asked to enter your password one last time just to make sure it’s really you. After you confirm, our automated system will safely take care of the rest in the background.

You’ll receive a quick confirmation email once the process is complete.

Important Note: If you have an active Premium Subscription, please make sure to cancel it through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store first so you don't get charged again!
