You won’t be able to delete individual direct messages from any user. Instead, you can delete the whole conversation from any user at any point.

Since we never keep track of your direct messages, the deletion of conversations can never be undone or retrieved.

To delete a conversation, open it, tap the more options (three dots at the top right corner of the screen), and tap delete. Confirm the deletion and its gone.
