Are you ready to join Pratilipi?

There are two ways to create a Pratilipi account:

• If logging from an Android/iOS device On a mobile device, download the app from Google Playstore or Apple store, and click on Sign-in.

• On a computer, go to www.pratilipi.com, select your desired language and click on Sign-in at the top right corner.

You can sign up for Pratilipi using your Facebook account or Google Account with a valid email address. Please use an email address that you have access to. We recommend not to use work email addresses or school email addresses as that may disappear once you leave your workplace or school.

No matter which sign-up route you take, you will be asked a few questions in order to set up your account. Don’t worry: whether you sign up as a writer or a reader, you will have the tools to both read and write on Pratilipi. The categories you choose during sign-up will determine the first set of recommendations we give you. After that, homepage recommendations will change based on your reading habits. As a result, if you are reading different types of stories and more often, the stories that are recommended to you will change.

You may add your basic details like name, pen-name, birthday, summary, gender, etc. to your profile, but most are not visible to other users. To read more about what other users can see, check out Account Privacy.

Once your account is set up, we ask that you verify the email address that is linked to your account. Your email is how we communicate with you if you experience any issues and it is essential for resetting your password, retrieving your Pratilipi account, etc. Verifying your email address is a quick and easy process.

Once your account is created, you will be able to:

• Follow other users

• Send direct messages

• Publish a story

• Rate & review stories

• Receive email notifications
