How can I edit a published story part?

Whether you’ve published a story part or it’s still in draft, you can edit it at any time. If you're writing a draft, any changes you make are periodically auto-saved, as long as you have an internet connection. There are two options for editing your content:

Option 1: From the Write page

  • Tap on the Write button in the bottom navigation bar
  • Select a story or a story part you wish to edit

Option 2: From your profile

  • Tap on your profile picture in the top-right of your home screen.
  • Select a story
  • Tap on Edit
  • Select a story part

Once you’ve made your changes, you can choose to save, preview or publish the part.

Publish the part

Press Publish

Save the part

  • Tap on the  More options button in the upper right-hand corner
  • Select Save

Preview the part

  • Tap on the More options button in the upper right-hand corner
  • Select Preview
  • Tap the Back button when you are done previewing

Formatting your Story

Every story is unique, and to showcase this it can be fun to play around with different font styles and alignments to personalize your story.

  • On the writing page, you can:
  • Add bold, italics, and underlining
  • Align your text to the right, left, or center
  • Add images within the story

Adding Story Details

Story details are options to customize your story and help make it more discoverable. They include:

  • Cover Image
  • Title
  • Summary
  • Type
  • Category
  • Copyright
  • Story Status (Complete vs. On-going)

You can change and modify these at any point.
