If you are trying to support an author but can't find the "Become a Superfan" button on their profile, there are a couple of reasons why it might be missing.
Here is what you need to know:
- The Author Might Not Be Eligible Yet
To keep the Superfan experience special and active, Pratilipi has a few requirements that authors must meet before they can offer Superfan subscriptions. An author must have a Golden Badge, so that they are eligible for Superfan Subscription.
If the author is very new, or if they haven't published anything in a while, the Superfan option will automatically be hidden. What to do: Keep reading, commenting, and following them! Your support will help them reach those milestones so they can unlock the Superfan feature soon.
- You Are Outside of India
Currently, the Superfan Subscription program is only available to readers located within India. If you are using the app from another country, the payment systems for Superfan subscriptions are not supported yet, so the button will be hidden from your app.
- You are using an iPhone
iOS features are still under development. We are catching up with the features that exist in Android to be available for iPhone users as well.
What to do: Head over to the Google Play Store and make sure your Pratilipi app is fully updated!
