I cannot log in to my Pratilipi account — full troubleshooting guide

We understand how important your Pratilipi account is to you, and we’re here to help you regain access as quickly as possible.

Please go through the troubleshooting steps below based on your issue.

Make Sure You Are Logging In to the Correct Account

Your reading history, unlocked parts, subscriptions, followers, and profile data are linked to the original email ID or Facebook/Google account used during signup.

Sometimes users accidentally create a new account instead of logging into their existing one.

Please try the following:

  1. Open the Pratilipi app.
  2. Go to Settings → Sign Out.
  3. On the login screen, select the same Google, Facebook, or email account you used earlier.
  4. Avoid creating a new account again.

Forgot Your Password?

Pratilipi does not store user passwords directly.

To reset your password:

  1. Open the app.
  2. Tap Sign in with Email.
  3. Enter your registered email ID.
  4. Tap Forgot Password.
  5. Check your email inbox for the password reset link.

If you do not see the email, please check your Spam or Junk folders as well.

App or Technical Issues While Logging In

Please try these troubleshooting steps:

  • Update the Pratilipi app to the latest version.
  • Clear the app cache:

    Settings → Apps → Pratilipi → Storage → Clear Cache
  • Restart your phone.
  • Turn Airplane Mode ON and OFF once.
  • Reinstall the app if needed.

Important: Please do not click Clear Data unless necessary.
