What are we doing to protect our writers content?

Pratilipi are protecting writers content in multiple ways. For example, we restrict screenshot in reader page, we have a botmanager to moniter any suspicious activities happening in our website, you cant copy contents in Pratilipi by disabling java script, you cant download the content outside pratilipi app etc. These are just examples. But we have implemented multiple processes to avoid content theft. Yet nothing is 100% secure when it comes online. Its the truth accross the world. What if you see that your content is circulating as PDF without your consent or copied in amazon in different name?

If you see your content as PDF, first try to find the rootcause (who is circulating it, how he got this pdf, how its been converted as pdf ect) of it. With these informations we can analyse & try stopping it. If you see your content is amazon under different name, raise/report a complaint with amazon about the same. Ask your friends to do the same. Also please let us know about it. We will send a legal notice from Pratilipi to amazon to remove the content & we will help you till the end. Pratilipi will always stand by the writers to protect their contents.

What if your are going ahead with legal case against a person / organization for content theft issue?

Pratilipi will support you on this (if the content is originally created in Pratilipi for the first time). You have to seek permission before recreating the original work. Publish these things without permissionis not allowed in Pratilipi.
