1. Who can participate in this competition?
→ The Super Writer Awards are open to all authors! Whether you're a Golden Badge author or not!
2. Why should I avoid publishing a preface, trailer, or extra notes as separate parts within my series?
→ Here's why it's best to avoid publishing prefaces, trailers, and extra notes as separate parts in your series:
(1) Reader Engagement: Readers expect the main story to begin immediately in Part 1. Publishing non-essential content as a series part can lose interest in reading the story.
(2) Advice: If you want you can start your first part with the intro or trailer in 4-5 lines, then start the first scene of your story directly to hook your readers.
3. How can I enroll my series in the Premium subscription program to qualify?
→ As a Golden Badge Author the first 15 parts of your new series will be free for readers. Once you publish the 16th part, your series automatically becomes a Pratilipi Premium series, allowing you to earn royalties.
4. I don’t have the Golden Badge right now, what should I do?
→ You can still participate in the competition by publishing your series normally. If you achieve a Golden Badge during the competition, your series can become a Pratilipi Premium series automatically by publishing new Parts.
→ Additionally, you can manually convert any of your 16+ part series to Premium after getting the Golden Badge:
Step 1: Open the Pratilipi app, tap the "Pen" icon, and select your series.
Step 2: Click "Edit Information" and look for the option to add your series to the subscription program.
Step 3: Opt-in and confirm, within 24 hours your series will become a Premium series.
5. How do I get the Golden Badge in Pratilipi?
→ To get your Golden badge we have 2 conditions. Once you fulfill both conditions, your honorable golden badge will be visible around your profile picture:
(1) You must have at least 200 followers.
(2) After that, you must publish at least any 5 contents within 30 days.
6. How do I know if my series is entered into the competition?
→ Here's how to ensure your series is considered for the competition:
(1) Publish your series parts within the competition timeline: Make sure to start and complete your series between the competition's start and end dates with at least 80 parts.
→ Each part should have a minimum of 800 words. (There's no maximum Word Limit or Part Limit!)
(2) Select the competition category: When publishing your series parts, choose the specific "National Writing Marathon - 2024" category. This ensures your series gets entered for judging.
(3) Follow competition rules: Review the competition rules and guidelines to ensure your series meets all requirements.
7. Can I write the next season of my existing series for this competition?
→ Yes, you can write.
8. Can I submit the same series to two different competitions or challenges?
→ One series, one competition! We want to give each story a fair chance, so submitting the same series to multiple competitions isn't allowed.
9. Where can I find the competition results?
→ The results for this specific competition will be published on the pre-announced date in the blog section by the Pratilipi team.
Step 1: Open the Pratilipi app, tap the "Pen" icon
Step 2: Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on "Blog" section
