Here are 6 secret tips on how you can easily plan and write a bestseller 60-part series.
1. Take a 1 line plot idea - Write a 1 line plot idea on a blank page. It can be inspired by any daily life incident/ newspaper article/ TV news/social media post/review by Pratilipi readers etc.
2. Create a short half page summary of your story - Based on above 1 line plot, try to create a short framework of your story. Write where the story starts and where it ends. Think of the important characters you will need in your story. Write down brief notes.
3. Design main characters of your story - Think of your main characters. Where do they live? What are challenges in their life? What kind of personality do they have? Which are the other characters you need to add in your story? Write down brief notes in 4-5 lines.
4. Note down major story events from beginning to end - Take a blank page. Based on the above half page summary and characters, now think and write down the possible major events which might happen in your story.
Use numbers like 1,2,3,4 to write points from beginning of the story to end. Just write 1 line each.
5. Break down your story into parts - Now it’s time to plan your 60 part story for the competition. Make a total of six sections and distribute major story events to each section. -
1-10 parts
11-20 parts
21-30 parts
31-40 parts
41-50 parts
51-60 parts
What happens in the story in each of these sections? Write your idea in 1-2 lines on what you will write.
6. Write notes on each single part - We are almost ready! You have written your idea for each 10 part section. Now we have to plan each single story part.
Write a 1 line rough idea about what will be there inside each part of the story. Example-

And so on…
