Unifying Premium Launch

We hope you are doing well.

We are thrilled to inform you that we are moving one step ahead to increase your earnings! Now, you don't need to wait for a long period for your series to get selected for Premium. We are introducing exciting new changes in our application around the same. So, make sure you are using the updated version of the app to witness the new changes.

We appreciate your efforts and time for writing long and engaging series. Now, you can earn more from each series which is published under subscription even if it is completed or ongoing.

Basically, right now while you are writing under superfan subscription, your new part will be locked for 5 days. But after 5 days it becomes free & you were not able to earn from those parts. Also, once that series gets completed you are not earning from that series until it gets selected for Premium. But why should good content not earn until it gets selected for a Premium?

Here, we are coming up with a new change which will allow you to have more locked parts forever which might gain you more subscribers and as we already know more subscribers means more earnings!

What has changed?

Each series published under subscription will be locked forever from part 16th onwards even if it is ongoing or completed.
First 15 parts of such series will be free for reading. This will be helpful in two ways. Read count of these parts & your series will increase. Readers will get engaged in your story more & start subscribing to you.
Readers won’t be waiting for 5 days to read any locked part of an ongoing series. They will wait for the next day to read the next locked part for free.
If reader wants to read these locked parts immediately, they can:

Subscribe to Pratilipi Premium OR
Subscribe to author and become super fan (as usual) OR
Pay 5 coins to unlock locked part immediately OR
Wait for the next day to unlock the next locked part automatically.

All ongoing series which are getting published under subscription will be automatically part of this new change.
For completed series, authors need to ‘opt in’ manually from the ‘edit content’ option.
Author will be able Add new parts or edit any part of the series anytime. They cannot delete, draft or reorder any parts of the series. Deletion or drafting such series will affect the user experience of subscribers. Hence we are implementing this change.
If you are currently participating in ‘Super writer awards 3’ writing competition, this change will be applicable for that contents as well
