Hello, 2023!

 About the contest 

-This is an open contest where you can submit any stories around the new year, new beginnings or anything that you are expecting in 2023. 
- The word count is a minimum of 500 words and a maximum of 1000 words.


 Prizes

The top 20 entries will be given physical certificates. All participants will be given e-certificates. These entries will be published under a special banner on the app. 


 How to participate?

Please publish your stories via self-publishing. The steps for self-publishing are as follows:

Step 1: After logging into Pratilipi App or website, click on the "Pen" icon on the home page.

Step 2: Here you would be able to write (or paste) your story.

Step 3: Click on the Publish button after which you will be asked to add the story title, cover image, and category.

Step 4: Select "Hello2023” in the category. (Note: If you are writing for the first time on Pratilipi, then click on the "view more" button to see the "Hello2023”  category. If you still can't find the category, then please self-publish your story and email the link to us at [email protected])

Step 5: Agree with the terms and click on publish. Your entry is submitted!


 Important rules

1. The story you submit should not be already published on Pratilipi. However, your submitted story can be published anywhere on any other platform/medium. You can also write a brand-new story and submit it here. 

2. The stories you submit should be written by you only. (Copying any other author’s story is a legal offense) 


 Important dates

1. The Last date to publish entries is 14th February 2023

2. Result date: 15th March 2023


  Important Tips

1. The story should not have any spelling or grammatical mistakes. 

2. It would be good to have a cover image for the story. 

3. To avoid any technical problems first update the app on the google play store or app store and then participate in the competition.
