Ode, lyric, song, ghazal, sonnet... there are many names in the name of poetry; however the feeling of every poetry is leaves one wanting for more.

Pratilipi brings you a poetry challenge this month. This month we will bring out the hidden poets in us all.

The rules are simple and all you need to do is write from your heart the song of your soul.

We have limit of maximum 5 poems.

Prizes and rules:

1. We have a team of judges who will decide top 4 poems.

2. Winners will be rewarded with the following prize money:

First Prize: 5000 /- Rs

Second Prize: 3000 /-Rs

Third Prize: 2000 /-Rs

Fourth Prize: 1000 /-Rs

3. All the participants will be featured on Pratilipi Home page in front of our readers

4. The poems you submit should be written by you only. (Copying any other author’s story is legal offense)

5. Minimum word length of each poem should be 100 words.

6. The poem you submit should not be already published on Pratilipi. However, your submitted poem can be published anywhere on any other platform/medium. You can also write a new poem and submit here.

Important dates:

1. Last date of submission: 15th August 2019

2. Your stories would be published and live on Pratilipi on 16th August 2019

3. Result date would be declared once stories are published on 16th August 2019 

How to Participate?

Participation is easy! Just click on the “Submit” button (at the bottom of this page) from your Pratilipi application or website. You will have to write or paste your poem on writer panel. Next few steps would be adding Title, Cover image, Category, Summary etc.
Once you submit your first poem, it will be shown in ‘Your submissions’ section. You can submit all poems one by one. Your submitted poems will be published on 15th August 2019 from our team.
