To find, celebrate and reward the best writing talents in the country, Pratilipi is launching the fourth edition of ‘Super Writer Awards’, which is India’s most popular online Literature Award, celebrated nationwide across 12 languages and states. 

 

The competition has always produced talented writers with their series that transformed into bestsellers, be it Pratilipi Premium, audio shows, comics, or paperback books.So far, their stories have reached crores of readers. Do you have the special talent to create new plots, characters and write popular stories easily? Our expert panel of judges will go through all entries and select the top 10 stories based on the below parameters:

• Uniqueness of story plot 

• Intensity of the story from beginning to end

• Character building 

• Description and dialogue writing

• Plot twist

 

2. Readers’ choice

 

Top 7 Stories: 3,000 cash prize each + Exclusive framed certificate for from Pratilipi 

 

From all entries, we will prepare a list of the top 10 stories based on below parameters:

• Total Read Count in comparison with the number of followers an author has for example, Author 1 has 50k followers. The series has 100k views. Author 2 has 10k followers. The series has 100k views. Author 2 gets more points.

• Highest Engagement Score, i.e, what percentage of readers finished the story from beginning to end

 

3. Talented emerging author award

 

This is a special honor for all authors who will publish a 60 part series for the first time in their Pratilipi profile. 

 

Get featured in an exclusive editorial copy: These talented emerging authors will get featured in a special editorial copy from Pratilipi where their interviews will be published and shared with the entire Pratilipi family. It's not just an interview; it's about you, your creative world, and your storytelling journey. Your image, series synopsis, and profile will take the spotlight, gaining incredible visibility in the Pratilipi family.

 

A special homepage banner: We will give special visibility to your series by adding them to our Home Page banner, this will give your series more reads counts and our Pratilipi family recognition for completing 60 parts in a series for the first time!

How to Participate

 

1. Only Pratilipi authors who have the Golden Badge around their profile picture can participate in this competition.
2. You have to publish a new series in your own Pratilipi profile. You can choose the plot of your series based on any genre or any topic you like.
3. The series should have minimum of 60 parts. You must finish the series by the last date.
4. To participate, it is mandatory to add ‘Super Writer Awards - 4’ category to your series. 
5. Your series should be mandatorily kept under Premium subscription program. 
6. Each series part should have at least 1000 words. No maximum limit.
7. You can publish as many story parts as you want in a single day.

 

Important Note: As you start writing a new series, the first 15 parts will be free. Once the 16th part gets published, it will be auto opted in under the premium subscription program. You won’t be able to see the opt in option while publishing the first 15 parts. Opt in option will be visible from 16th part only. From the 16th part, entire story parts will become locked and the series will become a Pratilipi Premium series. Readers will be able to unlock the story parts by purchasing subscription, paying coins or by waiting till next day to unlock each part.

• Competition start date: 10 August, 2023

• The last date to finish your series: 25 December, 2023

• Result publication date: 25 February, 2024
