Dear authors, 

 

Welcome to the romantic season of monsoon, rain and love! 

 

Are you wondering how to get the Golden Badge on Pratilipi? To help you, Pratilipi is conducting a special love story writing competition, ‘Tales of Love’, only for those authors who don’t have the Golden Badge in their profile. 

 

The theme of this event is love, relationship and romance. You have to write 7 short stories on different shades of love and publish it in a series format (by adding parts). Each story must have at least 600 words. If you want, you can write more stories in your collection. But, to be eligible for this competition, writing at least 7 stories is mandatory. 

 

Starting from today, the contest will run till 12 September. After this, our panel of expert judges will scrutinize each entry published for the competition and will select the best stories based on the overall quality of the collection.  You can win exciting prizes and certificates if you make it to our winners list!

We are giving 10 interesting theme ideas for your story. It’s not mandatory to write your story using any of these themes. These are just for reference. You can write stories on any topic as per your choice.

6. Love and adventure:  A Thrilling Journey Filled with Love, Danger, and Excitement

7. Love in the coffee shop:  A Caffeinated Tale of Love and Connection

8. Love in the mountains:  Majestic Peaks, Serenity, and Love's Summit

9. Love, desire and secrets:  Unraveling the Mystery of Love Amidst Hidden Truths, Desires and Deception

10. Love on the road:A Journey of Love, Travel, and Self-Discovery

Competition rules-

 

1. IMPORTANT: Only authors who do not have Golden Badge in their profile before 12 July can participate in this competition.

2. It is mandatory to add the category 'Tales of Love' while publishing the series.

3. Your series must have at least 7 short stories (added as parts of series). You can write even more if you want. No Upper limit. 

4. Each short story must contain at least 600 words. No upper limit. 

5. Your series must be finished by the last date of the competition. Unfinished stories will be disqualified.

Timeline-

 

• Competition Start Date: 12 July, 2023

• Last date to publish in the competition: 12 September, 2023

• Result date: 15 October, 2023

Prizes-

 

1. Top 7 winning authors will receive a cash prize of Rs.1000 each.

2. Top 7 authors will receive a special framed certificate from Pratilipi at their home address via courier.

3. All participating authors will receive a special ‘Digital Certificate of Participation’ in their email from Pratipli.
