Superfan Chatroom

What is Superfan Chatroom?

 

As promised, Superfan Chatroom is a part of the Superfan Subscription Program. Readers who have subscribed to their favorite author can now directly message the writer and discuss writing, reading and just about anything they wish to ask the writer. 

 

How can I be a part of the Superfan Chatroom?

 

If you have subscribed to a writer under the Superfan Subscription Program you will automatically become a part of the Superfan Chatroom of the writer. The list of all the writers you have subscribed to, their chat rooms will be visible in the Messages section of the app.

 

What are the benefits of being in the Superfan Chatroom?

 

The benefit of being a part of the Superfan Chatroom is that you message the author directly and the author can send its readers (Superfans) direct messages letting them know more about their latest works. If you like what a fellow Superfan or the writer has written in the Chatroom you can press the heart icon next to the text to like it. Think of it like this, you get to be a part of your very own personal book club from the comfort of your own home. In the chatroom you can also discuss with other Superfan of the author and also get the latest updates about the new episodes released. 

  

How can I create a Superfan chatroom? 

 

If you hold the Superfan Golden Badge you are eligible to create your own Chatroom. You can also edit the name of the Chatroom to your liking.

 

Why can I not see all my Superfan Chatrooms?

 

To go to the list of all the active Superfan Chatrooms please click on the Updates button on the Homepage and go to the Messages section at the top you can click on the blue widget  that says “Superfan Chatroom” you should see the option to see all the Superfan Chatrooms that are active in your account. 

 

Can I add or remove users from the Superfan Chatroom?

 

Users who subscribe to you by paying 25 Rupees per month will automatically be a part of your Superfan Chatroom. If you see any messages that are being reported again and again or if an author does not want a particular user to be a part of their Superfan Chatroom then the author can remove the user from the chatroom. Once you remove a user from the Superfan Chatroom you will not be able to add the user in the Superfan Chatroom again. However he/ she will be the superfan and can continue to enjoy all the benefits of superfan subscription except for chatroom.

 

Please Note: The user will be removed from your Superfan Chatroom but will still be able to read and write reviews for your content. Also give your contents ratings. If you wish to remove the person from there as well, please reach out to us with the reason for removing the user from profile completely. We will look into the matter and resolve it within 24 hours.   

 

Can I remove objectionable text from my Chatroom?

 

As a Superfan subscriber you can report a text you find is not appropriate for the chatroom. The reported message will be notified to the owner of the chatroom. It is the owner’s decision to remove the reported text or not. As the owner of the chatroom if you feel that a text is inappropriate you can delete the text from your chatroom.   

 

What happens when I unsubscribe from the Superfan Subscription of the writer?

 

Once you unsubscribe to a writer you will no longer be able to benefit from the features of the Superfan Chatroom and will automatically be removed from the chatroom where you will not be able to see or send messages. If you wish to enter the Superfan Chatroom of a writer you should subscribe to them. 

 

Will I have to pay extra to be a part of the Superfan Chatroom?

 

There are absolutely NO extra charges for being a part of the Superfan Chatroom. If you have subscribed to the writer by paying 25 Rupees per month then you will get the benefit of being a part of the Chatroom for that subscribed writer. 

 

What if I do not wish to be a part of the Superfan chatroom?

 

If you do not wish to be a part of the writer’s Superfan Chatroom you can simply go to the Superfan Chatroom details and mute the chatroom. You will not receive any notifications regarding the activities of that chatroom.
