I live in Kerala and I am a proud Indian and Keralite. So allow me to please shed light on the incident : The terrible death of the pregnant elephant is tragic. However, it was not an intentional sadistic joke as you mentioned in your narrative. The incident took place in a farming village near the forest , there the farmers usually use indegenous explosives and crackers to fend of wild boars and to protect agricultural produce from being ruined. From what the forest authorities reported we know that such traps are illegal but commonly used by farmers. The farmers do this out of desperation because if the wild animals ruin the crops their families will get affected. This pregnant wild elephant came into the village at night and ate such a pineapple cracker and injured its mouth and trunk with severe burns. (it is true that even wild boars should not be killed this way, but as i said farmers do this out of desperation not as a time pass or entertainment, they too have families to feed). The sight of the elephant standing in the river was reported to the forest authorirites and for 2- 3 days they tried to get the elephant out of the water, but an injured pregnant elephant is very dangerous and unpredictable, so they couldnt help it., anf it died standing in the river. The whole event is sad. but it was not intentional. The police have already arrested 2 people who are connected yo the incident. Enquiry going on. To prevent such incidents in future. These are the facts. Thank you. Celebrities crying out loud for animals, don't even care when pregnant woman die in some of our hospitals out of negligence, may be because it is more common than an elephant dying.. or may be it doesnt get that much hype.. !!

It is true that we have lost the humanity. But for your kind information i would like to the story you created is totally your filthy assumption. Please know the truth before you start writing or creating any story. If want to know the truth one of your commenter Jon jomon have wonderfully explained it.... Actually after reading this story i knew that even you have lost humanity. If so you cared a little you would have deleted this story at very second you knew the truth.....
