The author provides an open and honest assessment of an arranged marriage verses a love marriage. The narrative strikes a balance in defining the essentials of a good marriage in general where certain characteristics are the key to success. He also hightlights the importance of in-laws finding common ground and mutual respect for this expansion of family. Here it is important to point out that compatibility is more than a technical issue, business transaction or a simple exchange of gifts to solidify a marriage proposal. Individuals are not carbon copies of each other. Having an interest in the same career field or professional pursuit is not an automatic formula for compatibility. Love does not rise out of logic or status level. The Psychology of being human dictates greater complexity than a well orchestrated plan can define. People are challenged throughout life inside and outside of marriage. The passion and commitment of marriage requires bond from the heart and soul. In the absence of such things matrimony is simply a personal contractual agreement subject to revisions over time.

This is really a interesting topic. I believe our destiny is in our hands, who will come in our life is surely the decision of us. I totally agree with the editors view that both marriages are equal. Afterall, there a successful love marriages and arrange marriages and also divorced love and marriages also. The truth of a happly married life depends on both the couple, how well they can understand each other and make a strong bond as after marriage both have s new life, if a girl have new surroundings a boy have new member.

The topic which is sensitive has been dealt very well in the post. having said that though I don't agree with the point whichsays that Arranged Marriages are done majorly after the consent of the parents stating that they know better. In today's times Arranged Matriages, generally speaking, are made mainly depending upon the opinions of those getting married than their parents. Nowadays both the boy and girl are ambitious and have their own lists of priorities and wants which they usually don't want to adjust a lot with. in conclusion, however, it was a very good post handling the sensitivity of the topic very well.
